London Fashion Week Roundup: STREET STYLE

Before we start our focus on Milan Fashion Week, here's some of my favourite looks from London Fashion Week:

Model of the Moment: Dave Kabamba

“I aim to be the best the industry has ever seen and I know with God's help and hard work, this will happen. I won't let the slightest thing distract or stop me from making that a dream a reality.”

I met this Congolese stud just last year and he absolutely blew me away at Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa in October 2012. Dave Kabamba, only 18 years of age, started modeling in 2012 just as a trial period to see if he had what it took and was rather surprised by his success in the fashion industry.

Dave made his debut at SA Fashion Week in March 2012 for PALSE HOMME by Paledi Segabo and has had a successful career going forward. He has since walked for various Designers during SA Fashion week, including; Ephymol, Mzanzi, House of Ole and Roman Handt.

Dave has also worked with African Fashion International, also known as the “gateway to African fashion”, by participating in Mercedes Benz Fashion Week Africa in October 2012 for designers Laurence Airline and Projecto Mental. He’s set to walk the runway for MBFWJ this March.

Dave has also been featured in various magazines such as Style Joburg, Gaschette Magazine and in Voila Magazine with Miss South Africa 2011, Melinda Bam.

Not only known for his gaze and chiseled jawline, Dave strives to work hard and does not let any kind of setback get in his way. With that attitude as well as versatility, one cannot see how Dave cannot be one of the biggest male models in Africa.

it is so funny and pretty much awesome seeing backstage footage and models being real people! Cara, Rosie and Jourdan are known for their fun and craziness backstage and somehow this caused a frenzy online. the good kind of course, check out the Harlem Shake here:

Bey's Life is But A Dream (FULL DOCUMENTARY)

If anyone has been anticipating Beyonce's documentary.. its finally out. Beyonce shares her most private moments with Jigga himself as well as Baby Blue Ivy and shows us a more relatable side by discussing her tragic miscarriage, firing her father, motherhood and how her marriage with Jay-Z has given her a different outlook on herself as well as her life. watch it here:

LATEST OBSESSION: CLEAR PVC BAGS

i absolutely love this trend. it gives the typical a really edgy, cool look. what i love the most is the minimal look each bag has. would also be great to see the interesting contents some people have :) check out which designers have been gripped by this new trend:
